The health and safety of our employees, clients, and communities are a top priority. The coronavirus (COVID-19) circumstances are evolving rapidly, and we are trying to evaluate the situation utilizing all available industry and government (CDC) guidance.  In order to keep our community, our clients, and our team as safe as possible we have incorporated the following:

We will continue to be open for you and your pet(s).

We will be using social distancing by offering curbside appointments.

We will continue to be open for curbside prescription pick-ups.

Curbside Appointment Information

If your pet is new or your have vaccine records please submit them to info@gilbertsvillevet.com prior to your visit.  If it is easier you may text the information to 610.367.4744.

  • Upon arrival at the hospital park in any of the numbered spots (1 – 15).
  • Call us when you are parked – (610) 367-4744.
  • You will be greeted by a Client Care Specialist and placed on a brief hold while your team is notified that you have arrived.
  • Your Exam Room Educator will then take a brief history for the doctor and nurse team.
  • Your Exam Room Educator will ask you to pull around to the front door when your Nurse is ready
  • You will then take your pet into the vestibule and your Nurse will retrieve your pet from the vestibule once you have exited.
  • We will use our leashes to take your pet into the hospital or pick up your carrier.
  • Your pet will then be brought into the exam room where your Doctor and Nurse will be waiting.
  • Your pet will be examined and then your Doctor will call you with a treatment plan or to review your pet’s health with you.
  • Once the treatment plan is approved your Doctor and Nurse will complete any necessary treatments and prepare any medication that your pet may need.
  • Your Exam Room Educator will then contact you to invoice your visit.  Credit cards and Care Credit are the preferred methods of payment, however, we are still accepting checks.
  • You will then be asked to pull up to the front doors of the hospital and your pet will be brought back to the vestibule for you to retrieve.  If your pet has any medications, the nurse will review it with you and provide you with a receipt for the visit.

Prescription Pickups

  • Upon arrival at the hospital park in any of the numbered spots (1 – 15).
  • Call us when you are parked – (610) 367-4744.
  • A Client Care Specialist will invoice out your medication.
  • They will take your payment over the phone and then ask you to pull around to the side of the building (Employee Entrance).
  • Your medication will be placed into a white bin labeled Prescription Pickup by our Pharmacy Technician.
  • Once the Pharmacy Technician is back in the building you can exit your vehicle and retrieve your medication.
